Weed Pull on Land Trust Property

Join Teton Regional Land Trust for a weed pull on Woods Creek Fen. Help play an important role in ecosystem health by making room for native plants to thrive and provide for wildlife.

WHAT: Pull weeds on Land Trust owned property–primarily pulling Canada and musk thistle, but also potentially spotted knapweed, houndstongue, and oxeye daisy. Weed identification information will be provided before the pull, so all skill levels and ages are welcome! This is a great learning opportunity. Bring the family!

WHEN: Tuesday, July 1 at 9am

WHERE: Meet at the Teton Regional Land Trust office at 9am. From there, we will carpool to Woods Creek Fen. Note, parking is limited, so please carpool from the Land Trust office if you can!

DURATION: Including travel time, we anticipate this event running approximately 4 hours, depending on the number of volunteers.

WHAT TO BRING: gardening gloves, long sleeve shirt, sunscreen, hat, sunglasses, waterproof or muck boots, bear spray, trowel, bug spray, snacks/lunch, and water
