Mandy moved out to the area in 2003 after graduating from the University of Texas with a degree in Geography and a concentration in Environmental Resource Management to work for Grand Teton National Park as an Interpretive Ranger. She fell in love with the mountains and the wild beautiful natural world around Jackson Hole, and worked seasonally for both Grand Teton National Park and the Jackson Hole Mountain Resort, before heading back to Austin to pursue a post-baccalaureate degree in Elementary Education.

After spending 2 years in the pacific northwest, she moved back to Jackson and continued working for Grand Teton before shifting gears into the non-profit world. Mandy has worked in outreach, education, and event planning for several non-profit organizations including the Jackson Hole Conservation Alliance and The Cougar Fund, but moved from Jackson to Driggs 3 years ago and is very excited to live and work in Teton Valley for an organization committed to preserving this special landscape.

Mandy enjoys skiing, hiking, and backpacking in her free time, as well as spending time with her chunky kitty, Gus, and traveling as much as possible.
