Katie Gabel-Patterson
Finance and Operations Director
Katie grew up in Florida, and moved to Teton Valley in 2020 in pursuit of mountain life. She holds degrees in Communications and International Politics from the University of Louisville and the University of Edinburgh. She comes to TRLT with a background in claims management, payroll/HR, and accounting, having spent most of her professional career in the healthcare business sector. Her continuing education includes certifications in compliance and accounting.
In her free time, Katie loves waterskiing, rollerblading, and baking. She gained an interest in outdoor activities as a young adult living in Minnesota, learning how to Nordic ski and experiencing her first time camping. She now enjoys challenging herself in the Tetons, taking every opportunity she can to learn about recreating outside.
Katie is thrilled to contribute to a local organization dedicated to the conservation of Southeast Idaho’s natural beauty. She is grateful to work alongside the motivated and enthusiastic team at Teton Regional Land Trust.
