IN A LANDSCAPE

For the 11th season, IN A LANDSCAPE: Classical Music in the Wild™ tours the American West. Mountain tops, old-growth forests, and sunny meadows replace the traditional concert hall in the series featuring pianist Hunter Noack on a 9-foot Steinway concert grand piano. Listen through wireless headphones and wander afield with the music as a soundtrack to your experience in the wild.

IN A LANDSCAPE is returning to Teton Valley for its 11th season. The evening begins at 4:00 PM with a guided conservation tour of Six Springs Ranch to learn more about the land you’ll be experiencing that evening. Then, from 5:00–6:30 PM, pianist Hunter Noack will perform on a grand piano set right in the heart of the ranch. Guests listen through wireless headphones and can explore the grasslands and willow-lined creeks at their own pace, experiencing the music in the open landscape. Six Springs Ranch is the Land Trust’s first conservation easement property, and remains a working ranch where agriculture, wildlife habitat, and open space thrive side by side.

Concert tickets are $75, with an optional $15 Charcuterie Cup by Dory’s Cafe.

Dinner at the Barn

Following the IN A LANDSCAPE performance, we’ll gather in the barn at 6:30 PM for Dinner at the Barn. Gates will open at 6:30 PM to avoid disturbing the concert, and dinner tickets are sold separately.

Set against a summer evening in Teton Valley, Dinner at the Barn is a chance to slow down, enjoy a delicious dinner, and connect with friends and neighbors. Drinks will be available for purchase throughout the evening. We’ll also host a community auction and paddle raise, with all proceeds supporting the protection of eastern Idaho’s open spaces and working lands.

During the evening, we will present the 2026 Ed Hill Conservation Award, honoring an individual or group who demonstrates an active commitment to conserving land and strengthening community in the Upper Snake River Valley.

Please note:

  • conservation tour of Six Springs Ranch begins at 4:00 PM; doors for the concert also open at 4:00 PM.
  • IN A LANDSCAPE concert tickets ($75) and Dinner at the Barn tickets ($50) are sold separately.
