On Saturday, September 20, we will be auctioning off some amazing crane artwork at the Crane Festival Celebration at Grand Teton Brewing from 4-7 pm to raise money for the Greater Yellowstone Sandhill Crane Initiative. We have eight beautiful, creative crane sculptures for auction. Volunteers took the blank cranes home months ago and have worked tirelessly to create these amazing works of art that you can own and display at your home. All sculptures’ starting bids are $100. The Buy it Now price is $350, which is the cost of planting one acre of barley, cutting it, and leaving it for cranes on our Grain for Cranes food plots.

We will also have eleven other works of crane art at the auction, some of which are framed, including this year’s poster contest winning artwork by Meghan Hanson. Meghan will be at the festival on Saturday to sign posters. Most of the other donated crane artwork are past submissions to the poster contest, highlighting our local talent. You can see why it is always so hard for our staff to pick a winner!
