Fence Removal Project: Tetonia, ID

Removing obsolete fencing with our dedicated group of TRLT Volunteers is a fun and exciting way to improve wildlife habitat and get outside. We encourage you to join us as we will be removing a barbed wire fence on a conservation property in Tetonia, that will significantly improve Elk migration and winter habitat. WHEN: Friday, June 23rd, 9:00 am to 2:00 pm, you can come as your time allows

WHERE: Meet at the Tetonia Post Office

— WHAT TO BRING —

CLOTHING: Dress for the weather. Tear/abrasion resistant pants and shirts are recommended. Work/hiking boots will be necessary. Protective gloves (leather are best) and eye-wear are highly recommended. Sunglasses or reading glasses can suffice.

EQUIPMENT: Please bring any tool than can be useful to remove fencing.  Fencing pliers, pliers, t-post pullers, wire cutters, etc.

FOOD: Lunch is provided. Please bring personal water, beverages, and snacks.
