Pat works with the Teton Regional Land Trust conservation team to complete land management and conservation-related duties including weed management, grazing, fencing, and watering on approximately 1,350 acres in Teton Valley. He also assists with the stewardship of conservation easement properties. He writes baseline studies for potential conservation easements, writes management plans for fee-owned properties and completes habitat restoration projects.
Pat earned a B.A. in Anthropology from Colorado College and focused his research on human geography and land issues in the Intermountain West. Since 2010 he has worked as a field instructor for the National Outdoor Leadership School (NOLS) and also oversaw the school’s horse packing program as the Manager of Three Peaks Ranch. In addition, Pat has worked for conservation ranching operations in Colorado and Montana and enjoys being horseback on working landscapes. In his free time, he enjoys skiing, biking, fly fishing and spending time in the backcountry.
