Kami Archibald
Director of Engagement
Kami Archibald has joined Teton Regional Land Trust as the Director of Engagement, bringing with her a rich educational background and extensive experience in parks and recreation, nonprofit fundraising, and management. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Parks, Recreation, and Tourism and a master’s degree in Recreation Therapy and Experiential Education. Following her graduation, Kami launched a consulting firm that provided valuable insights and training for various nonprofits, helping them enhance their outreach and program effectiveness.
Before her role at Teton Regional Land Trust, Kami founded Teton After School, an organization dedicated to providing enriching after-school programs for children in the community. Her leadership and vision transformed Teton After School (now ABC-Above and Beyond the Classroom), expanding its mission to offer comprehensive academic and enrichment services. Additionally, she successfully introduced a comprehensive full-day program on Fridays for children in Teton Valley, accommodating those who now attend school for four days a week.
Kami’s expertise spans program planning, fundraising, grant writing, and outdoor recreation services. She has effectively secured funding and improved donor engagement for numerous nonprofit organizations, demonstrating her ability to drive financial support for meaningful initiatives.
In her new position at Teton Regional Land Trust, Kami is eager to utilize her skills and experience to foster community engagement and develop programs that connect individuals with TRLT. Her passion for stewardship, nonprofit management, and community development will guide her efforts to create inclusive opportunities that promote environmental awareness and community involvement. Kami is excited to lead initiatives at TRLT that inspire individuals to appreciate, explore, and protect their natural surroundings.
In her free time, Kami enjoys outdoor activities such as climbing, backpacking, fishing, and mountain biking, as well as appreciating nature with her two daughters, husband, and their dog, Louie.
