Cynthia Collin received a B.S. in ecology and systematic biology and a M.S. in Biology from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo.  She has worked in the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem and many other western states in fish and wildlife biology for a variety of federal and state agencies.  She has been teaching community college biology for over 25 years and is currently teaching at the College of Eastern Idaho, in Idaho Falls.

Cynthia has two sons with whom she enjoys exploring the mountains.  She also enjoys spending time on skis or bikes, floating the Teton, camping, and traveling.
