Breckenridge Celebration!

breckenridge2Thanks to everyone who attended the Breckenridge conservation easement celebration last Friday July, 30.  A fantastic barbecue and conservation easement property tour were held to honor the family that conserved a portion of their family ranch and to thank all of the partners that made this conservation project possible.  The 200 acre conservation easement completed in December 2009  protects scenic Teton views, over one mile of the Teton River and a historic cattle ranch.

A sincere thank you to the Breckenridge Family for their conservation vision and to our funders: the US Fish and Wildlife Service’s North American Wetlands Conservation Act;  the US Fish and Wildlife Service’s Landowner Incentive Program administered by the Idaho Department of Fish and Game; the Doris Duke Charitable Foundation’s Northwest Wildlife breckenridge3
Conservation Initiative, designed to help conserve wildlife habitat identified in state wildlife action plans and administered by The Nature Conservancy; Ducks Unlimited; Bonneville Power Administration Mitigation Fund; neighbors and several Private Funders.
